The Evolution of Taylor’s Landscape Supply

In 2004, Taylor's Landscape Supply and Nursery, Inc. began as a small pine straw distribution center, Taylor’s Pine Straw, in Lexington, SC. Founded by Gerrick Taylor, a local high school football coach, the business started with a simple mission—providing quality pine straw to the community.

As demand grew, Gerrick acquired a small piece of property and expanded his offerings, adding mulch and sod, both available for pick-up or delivery.

Looking for further growth, Gerrick and his family moved to Bluffton, SC, drawn by their love for the Lowcountry. Taylor’s quickly became a trusted source for pine straw, mulch, rock, sand, and gravel, serving both contractors and the general public.

Recognizing the increasing demand for plants and trees, Taylor’s introduced a small nursery, which has since grown and continues expanding nearly every week.

Today, Taylor’s Landscape Supply offers a wide variety of landscaping products and services in 6 different locations, including:
